Established in January of 2014, the HOW Foundation is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that helps educate, advocate, and provide access to hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT).
Currently, we have 4 programs:
- Veteran Investment Program: providing veterans suffering from brain injuries and post-traumatic stress with life-changing hyperbaric oxygen therapy.
- Civilian Program: providing civilians suffering from brain injuries and post-traumatic stress with life-changing hyperbaric oxygen therapy. (This also includes sports brain injuries.)
- Brain Health Seminar Program: We believe the more people know about their brains and how they work, the better care they will take of their brains. This program is designed to expand education beyond a classroom and teach people about concussions, brain health, and hyperbaric oxygen therapy.
- Concussed Student Athletes (CSAP): helps young athletes protect their brains while engaging in healthy sports activities. We educate athletes, coaches, and additional staff on recognizing and reporting concussion symptoms, as well as provide financial support to help athletes access HBOT for their concussions.
By visiting our website, www.HOWFoundationSF.org, you can learn more about how HBOT helps heal, as well as how to gain access to the treatment.
