The Special Operations Care Fund (SOC-F) is a non-profit philanthropic organization, organized under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. SOC-F whose Board is made up entirely by unpaid volunteers. We have 1 paid employee, our Executive Director, whose salary is paid for by a generous donor. Our primary mission is to provide direct support to both active and retired members of the U.S. Special Operations Forces (SOF) Community, and their families. We “fill in the gaps” of specific needs that are generally not met by government or other private sources. These gaps include medical coverage, such as MeRT & hyperbaric chamber treatments for traumatic brain injury and PTS; help with personal financial emergencies; intensive marriage reconciliation & counseling for SOF couples in acute need, our Gold Star Kids Camp, and treatment for alcohol & drug abuse. Secondarily, we support other recognized and trusted 501(c)(3) organizations who focus on similar medical, educational and family needs of our SOF war fighters.
