How do dogs help you ask?
Dogs are helping mitigate the symptoms of mental health concerns like; Flashbacks, trouble sleeping, being easily startled, Always being on guard of danger.
These Posttraumatic Stress symptoms can be debilitating for Veterans that have sacrificed everything for our freedoms.
So please if you know a vet that seems a bit off kilter, try to be kind and understanding. They may be experiencing something we may not understand.
