Black Impact Houston (BIH) is an alliance that strengthens Houston’s Black-led nonprofit organizations that primarily serve historically under-resourced Black communities.
BIH advances this purpose through education, training, leadership development, capacity building, convening, and other charitable activities designed to strengthen the ability of these organizations to provide vital services to the public.
Through its member organizations, BIH supports thousands of vulnerable residents across Greater Houston with programs in education, out-of-school time, workforce development, community development and affordable housing, arts and culture, criminal justice reform, public health, and other charitable services that address the effects of discrimination and economic inequity.
BIH’s work strengthens the charitable capacity of Black-led nonprofits so they can more effectively contribute to building equitable, healthy, and thriving communities.
