Operation Delta Dog has a mission to rescue homeless dogs from across the country and train them to be service dogs for veterans with PTSD, Traumatic Brain Injury, and Military Sexual Trauma. We offer this at no cost to our veterans.
The need in our community for this service has become bigger than our current capacity to meet the need. We have a growing wait list of veterans in need of their service dog; the longer the list keeps growing, the longer the time period of the wait is for these men and women. For those suffering, this could be the difference between life and death- we lose 22 veterans with PTSD to suicide every day.
We are embarking on an project to expand our ability to reach more veterans in need by adding additional space so that we can rescue and train more dogs and put them into the hands of our waiting veterans.
Please help us help them. 22 a day is 22 too many.
