The Crown Restoration Project is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit restoring dignity and identity for people experiencing medical hair loss, trauma, and systemic barriers to self-expression. Through direct restoration services including human-hair wigs and toppers, scalp care, loc restoration, and pediatric hair loss support, we serve cancer patients, individuals living with alopecia and CCCA, trauma survivors, veterans, and other underserved populations.
Our work extends beyond direct services into education and awareness, including provider cultural competency training for healthcare organizations; workforce and pathways programs through our Beauty and Business Pathways initiative; and access and equity programs such as Crown Care Vouchers and our Crown Crisis Fund. We also advocate for policy protections like the CROWN Act and greater awareness of conditions like central centrifugal cicatricial alopecia (CCCA).
Every program is rooted in one belief: every person deserves to wear their crown with dignity, regardless of medical condition, life circumstance, or economic standing.
