At Let It Shine, we "gather love and give it away" through our community food pantry, thrift store, seasonal outdoor markets, women's retreats and wellness podcast. We offer a free lunch program for the local elementary schools and free famiiy yoga every Sunday form June through September. Let It Shine connects women to the products and services they need in New York's Hudson Valley. Whether it's food, or the pots to cook it in, we are here. If someone needs a lawyer or a social worker, we will help make the connection. We also sponsor local women to attend our weekend retreats held twice a year. The Let It Shine food pantry focuses on nutrition with lots of fresh fruits and vegetables. We also make sure our community has shopping bags to carry the groceries home and can openers and other household items to prepare the food, Let It Shine has a Santa and a Spring Bunny who make seasonal appearances with free gifts for children. The Let It Shine Unicorn is busy popping up all over town all year.
25 dedicated volunteers operate Let It Shine, at 137 7th Street in Verplanck NY. Downstairs at The Pantry volunteers meet the delivery truck, unload it, stock the shelves, breakdown the boxes, sweep, clean and deliver to the homebound. The Let It Shine Again thrift store is upstairs.
