The Historical & Cultural Preservation initiative is dedicated to protecting and elevating the stories that shaped us.

Rooted in Masonic reverence for truth, knowledge, and legacy, this project highlights the profound impact of great Americans in military service and in the Masonic tradition. We bring these histories to life through events, public education, and cultural preservation efforts that ensure future generations know where they come from and who paved the way.

One of our cornerstone efforts is the Fort Des Moines Prince Hall Project, which commemorates the critical role of the great officers trained at Fort Des Moines and the deep connection between Prince Hall Masons and military service. From historical markers to educational forums, this work honors sacrifice, courage, and community leadership.

We also preserve and promote the African American Masonic legacy, documenting its role in building resilient communities, advancing civil rights, and fostering civic responsibility.

Whether through installations, commemorations, storytelling, or intergenerational education, this project stands as a living archive of honor, service, and heritage.
