SECOND HARVEST FOOD BANK OF EAST CENTRAL INDIANA INC

Second Harvest Food Bank of East Central Indiana was founded in 1983 with the goal of leveraging resources in the community to combat rising rates of food insecurity. Second Harvest Food Bank is the region’s largest hunger-relief organization with over 200 partners in Blackford, Delaware, Grant, Henry, Jay, Madison, Randolph and Wabash Counties.

Each year, Second Harvest acquires and distributes millions of pounds of food through a network of more than 225 partner agencies—including food pantries, schools, soup kitchens, senior centers, veteran-serving organizations, and local governments. Together, these partnerships provide food and resources to over 76,000 individuals across East Central Indiana. Through innovative programs and collaborative community efforts, Second Harvest serves as a lifeline for vulnerable populations while working toward long-term solutions to hunger and poverty.
