AMERICAN LEGION BAND OF GREATER KANSAS CITY

The American Legion Band of Greater Kansas City is dedicated to enriching the lives of the general public by perpetuating traditional, military-style concert-band music performances at charitable, educational, civic, and patriotic events.

The band regularly performs for various civic and patriotic events throughout the year. Annual performances include the Memorial Day Observance at the Liberty Memorial, Flag Day concerts across the metro including a major performance at the John Knox Village Pavilion, and multiple Veterans' Day performancesacross the region.
