Hampton Roads Mexican American Council of San Antonio (HRMACSA) is a dedicated nonprofit organization with 501©(3) status, committed to alleviating homelessness and neediness among veterans and families in the San Antonio and Bexar County region since 1999. We dedicated to supporting communities in need. Our mission is to provide assistance with homelessness, unemployment, food insecurities, education support for the community in addition to transitional services, and helping veterans integrate into civilian life and improve their quality of life.
At HRMACSA, we are dedicated to creating a comprehensive support system for veterans and their families and the community in need. Our vision is to establish a one-stop community center that addresses the diverse needs of our community. This center will provide:
• Educational Opportunities: Offering classes, workshops, and one-on-one tutoring to help achieve their academic and career goals.
• Food Pantry: Ensuring that no family goes hungry by providing access to nutritious food.
• Clothes Closet: Offering clothing for all ages and occasions, helping families dress with dignity.
• Resume and Job Assistance: Helping craft strong resumes, prepare for job interviews, and connect with employment opportunities.
• Referral Services: Connecting individuals with additional resources and services to meet their unique needs.
