Sleepy Hollow Equestrian Center is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization located in Negley Ohio. The mission of Sleepy Hollow Equestrian Center is to provide positive outreach programs to the local community. We will accomplish this by offering therapeutic horse riding programs to special needs children and youth as well as our veterans.
We have dedicated equine and activity programs to keep our youth positively occupied. Our veterans programs are specifically tailored to each individual veteran and their needs at no cost to them.
The purpose for this grant request is to request funds for a wheelchair accessible Poly-John. This emergency request is due to a grant being fulfilled for our wheelchair ramp and we would now be able to accept special needs individuals that utilize a wheelchair, however, we would also require a poly-john to accommodate wheelchairs. We have one semester starting in May and another starting July. By acquiring this Poly-John, we would then be able to enroll participants needing their wheelchair and they can participate in our programs throughout the semester.
