The purpose of this project is to solicit and accept funds to promote the celebration of Dr. King’s legacy of service, equality, justice, peace, respect, and inclusion for all races and cultures in Greater Orlando by distributing funds to non-profit organizations and groups. Funds are also used for the Humanitarian Awards Recognition Program. Humanitarian awards are given to one student at each of the high schools in Orange County.
