Through our emergency, transitional and seasonal shelters; permanent housing program; medical outreach; and other poverty-assistance services - your EUMA is moving families, Veterans, youth, and others from homelessness to HOME, hopelessness to HOPE.
Specifically, our mission is carried out each day through the following programs:
* The Refuge - a 32-bed emergency shelter for homeless families with children that keeps the family unit together during a housing crisis;
* Liberty House - a 10-bed transitional shelter and program for homeless Veteran men;
* Our Neighbors’ Place Seasonal Shelter - a community effort to provide safe and warm overnight shelter to men and women who are homeless and have nowhere to go during Erie’s winter season;
* Rapid Re-Housing - helping those in a housing crisis quickly find a home and wrapping them with supportive services to keep them there;
* Healthcare for the Homeless Partnership - facilitating and providing collaborative healthcare ministry to the homeless community;
* Permanent Housing - offering low-income permanent housing units to formerly homeless families, youth and others;
* The Rainbow Connection - a thrift store providing financial support to EUMA programs and offering free clothing and household items to homeless individuals and those in need through a voucher assistance program.
