Empowering low income, under-served and under-resources pet parents and local communities in LA City and LA County to reduce abandoned animal populations by providing low cost and free resources and referrals such as spay & neuter, pet food, supplies, emergency vet care, vaccinations, etc. so they can retain, reclaim and live with their pets while reducing the number of pets born on streets, abandoned and that enter animal shelters.
Bark Avenue Foundation (now betterTogether Forever) has been serving the Los Angeles area for over a decade. We've been involved with all aspects of animal welfare but our focus is on helping those pet parents that are most vulnerable (low income, under-served, experiencing homelessness, seniors, veterans, etc.) living in LA stay together safely and healthily off the streets.
