If you believe that a democratic Ukraine, whole and free, is in the national security interests of the United States, then please support UCCA's #SupportUkraine initiative.
Established in 1940, the Ukrainian Congress Committee of America (UCCA) unites and advocates in the name of nearly 30 fraternal, educational, religious, cultural, youth, veterans and humanitarian organizations in the Ukrainian American community. This blatant violation of international norms by russia is only the latest example of the russia colonial aggressor state violently conquering its neighboring territories.
With the aggressor state’s newest “scorched earth” policy directing daily bombings of civilian and sacred targets continues to victimize the innocent men, women, and children of Ukraine, Ukrainians have bravely remained on the front lines of democracy, defending against encroaching tyranny, in the face of this renewed attempt of genocide against the Ukrainian nation.
Thanks to the generosity of the Ukrainian American community and the general public, each donation, large or small, to UCCA’s #SupportUkraine campaign has made an impact, helping to alleviate the challenges Ukrainians continue to face. In addition to UCCA’s 2023 Platinum Seal of Transparency, the highest award from the charity rating organization Candid, Charity Navigator also recognizes UCCA as a standout organization based on our stability, efficiency and sustainability.
In addition to the over 75 humanitarian updates UCCA has issued since before the bombings began in February of 2022, and the over 100 email alerts, the weekly humanitarian aid zoom coordination sessions led by UCCA, the emergency national meetings organized online, UCCA has also set an example with our online documentation which can be found on UCCA’s website – ucca.org - alongside official reports since February 2022 by the United States, Ukraine, and the United Nations.
All of UCCA's Humanitarian Aid Updates and Special Mission Reports can be reviewed at https://ucca.org/aidreports/
UCCA’s Humanitarian Aid Updates document ongoing efforts to supply Ukrainians with life-saving Individual First Aid Kits (IFAK), and other critically needed medical, non-lethal military assistance. UCCA also funds the delivery of food, medicines, and hygiene products to remote villages .
Additionally, UCCA's Well Water Project increase access to clean drinking water for various hard-hit villages in the the Kherson Oblast, while UCCA's Generator Project continues to provide portable power to keep our fighting men and women, along with the millions of internally displaced people, sheltered and warm this Winter.
As a not-for-profit organization, UCCA relies heavily on your donations for support, and we hope you continue your generosity to fund our relief efforts in the coming months ahead.
