ANGEL FLIGHT OF NEW ENGLAND INC

Founded in 1996, Angel Flight Northeast ("AFNE") is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit, tax-exempt organization that coordinates free air transportation for children and adults who need to access medical care that is not readily available to them in their geographic region and lack the resources to travel via commercial airlines. We provide our services to patients and loved ones for free - there is never a charge to the patients. Our volunteer pilots donate their time, fuel and resources to support our mission. In addition, we have collaborated with commercial airlines partners to assist when our general aviation pilots can not fly our patients. We also provide our services under our Angels for Armed Forces program to active military personnel and veterans so they can access medical care and resources to heal after proudly serving our country. We are also a vital mode of transportation for organs, blood and for patients awaiting organ transplants. We also make compassion flights and provide air care wherever there is a compelling human need. Since our founding, we have coordinated more than 110,000 + flights of healing and hope and our pilots have flown more than 16 million miles. In total, AFNE pilots, with support from commercial airline partners, have flown and coordinated patient flights to or from 750+ hospitals and medical centers throughout the United States and Puerto Rico. Our primary service area covers 9 states: Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, and Vermont. Additionally, we can serve patients nationwide through our partnership with other air charities and airlines.
