VPMMA Volunteer Professional Development (VPD) Program
/ VETERAN PROJECT MANAGER MENTOR ALLIANCEThis program provides structured Leadership and Technical development tracks to ensure our 100% volunteer workforce can sustain VPMMA's mission of empowering military families through project management. The $25,000 investment will fund industry-recognized certifications, specialized nonprofit leadership training, and the digital infrastructure required to manage a high-performing "Working Board".
Budget Justification ($25,000)
Following our Financial Management Guidelines and GAAP principles, the budget is allocated as follows:
Industry Certifications: ($12,000) Funds Scholarships for Industry Certifications (PMP, CAPM, etc.) for volunteers who exceed performance standards.
Leadership Development: ($6,000) Professional coaching for the Executive Board on fiduciary duties (Care, Loyalty, Obedience) and Strategic Direction.
Technical Skills Training: ($4,000) Specialized training for roles like Grant Researchers, Donor Managers, and Comptrollers to ensure financial sustainability.
FACC Integration: ($2,000) Development of targeted training in Fairness, Access, and Cultural Competence (FACC) to ensure equitable program access.
Digital Infrastructure: ($1,000) Licenses for third-party software and tools needed for Social Media, Data Privacy, and Google Workspace administration.
