Resolve Solutions Incorporated (RSI) empowers young Americans to fundamentally change their future by providing transformative opportunities to become future global leaders through military and civil service. The Mission As the work continued, so did the reinforcement of why this mission was vital—vital not only to the success of promising students in underrepresented communities, but vital to the survival of the leadership pipeline in the American Workforce and the the bottom line of several national institutions: colleges, universities, military service academies, and the Department of Defense. Case in point: to date, the US Army spends almost $300 million per year on ROTC scholarships, but only 52% of those students graduate and get commissioned as an officer within a five-year period. Certainly not a satisfying percentage. Lanier recognized this problem and started doing something about it. That stats showed what Lanier already knew: increased graduation and commissioning rates translate directly into more efficient and equitable use of Department of Defense funds, particularly around the success of the Reserve Officers' Training Corps (ROTC).
