COMMUNITY ACTION OF LARAMIE COUNTY

Community Action of Laramie County Inc. houses several programs and grants, including our Self-Sufficiency, Crossroads Healthcare Clinic, Kinship, and Veteran Housing Programs. Self-Sufficiency Program consists of Project Hope and Transitional Housing. All services include Intensive Case Management and assistance to participants to achieve independence and self-sufficiency. Crossroads Healthcare Clinic provides primary medical care, mental health services, and substance abuse services to individuals and families who are currently homeless. Kinship Support Services assists caregivers age 55+ as they raise relatives who are under age 18, or under age 54 and living with a disability. We also offer Temporary Guardianship services and our Wyoming in Home Services program which has a goal of preventing premature institutionalization by providing light housekeeping services, grocery shopping, and meal prep for those who are disabled or elderly. Working in partnership with the Cheyenne VA Medical Center, Veteran Housing Services provides short-term housing (up to 90 days) for homeless veterans as they work with case managers to secure permanent housing.
