BOLT MULTISPORT

Bolt Multisport races provide an opportunity for kids of all abilities to engage in the sport of triathlon, have fun and be a part of something amazing. Bolt Multisport, Inc. is a tax exempt organization operated by a few dedicated individuals who have a passion for multisport, youth and our community.
When kids participate in a youth triathlon, amazing things happen. Our events get the community excited about youth endurance sports, great volunteer opportunities and exciting ways to engage families in the community. It is inspiring to see the little triathletes, the special needs kids and not so little competitive youth elites push themselves despite the challenges before them. Thus, a thriving youth triathlon scene has grown from an idea to reality in Sierra Vista.
Bolt runs the Firebolt Youth Triathlon in the spring and the Thunderbolt in the fall which are community events that focus on inclusiveness, health, fitness and participation in a multisport experience. These triathlons take place at Veterans Memorial Park, starting at the Cove and finishing in the middle of the park. We are also growing our special needs participation rate and strive to include kids with disabilities. These kids receive help and assistance throughout the race as well as financial assistance.
In addition to benefiting the individual participants, we have donated about 10% of our net proceeds from our events to organizations like Sierra Vista Tsunami Swim Team and Buena Mountain Bike Club and Fry Fire Department. Both of these programs serve a wide range of kids in Sierra Vista and beyond, giving them the opportunity to engage in sport, develop their skills and grow as individuals in our community.
