At Golden Elite, our mission is to educate the community about the importance of leading a physically active, drug-free lifestyle that includes living with integrity and self-respect through the sport of track and field.
Golden Elite Track and Field Club was founded in 1992 by Army Veteran Coach Michael Etheredge to provide a positive and constructive athletic program for his son, Little Mike Jr., and other youth in Pensacola, Florida. With a deep commitment to youth development, ministry, and athletics, Coach Mike built Golden Elite into a pillar of the community, helping over 2,500 young athletes, many of whom have earned full-ride scholarships to major universities.
