DOLPHIN SCHOLARSHIP FOUNDATION

The Dolphin Scholarship Foundation was established in 1960 and granted the first award of $350.00 in 1961. Today, Dolphin Scholarship Foundation sponsors 118 renewable scholarships with an annual grant of either $2,600 or $4,000 for two to four years of full-time undergraduate studies as well as students pursuing trade/vocational certification. Since our founding over 60 years ago, Dolphin Scholarship Foundation has granted over $14 million dollars to over 1,400 outstanding students throughout the United States.

Dolphin Scholarship Foundation grants are available, on a competitive basis, to high school or college children and spouses of members, or former members of the U.S. Submarine Force or Navy members who have served in submarine support activities.

Funds to sustain our scholarship program are provided through the tireless efforts of Officer and Enlisted submarine spouse groups, individual and corporate donations, merchandise sales, and fundraising events.
