Adaptive Sports Fund: Get Disabled Veterans Back in the Game

For a veteran living with a disability, sport is one of the fastest routes back to community. Adaptive sports like wheelchair basketball rebuild strength, confidence, and the team camaraderie many veterans miss most after service. But local adaptive programs are chronically underfunded, and the practical costs — sports wheelchairs, gym bookings, tournament entry fees — are exactly what stops a veteran from competing.

This project provides jump-start funding that clears those barriers. Contributions go toward adaptive sports equipment, court and facility time, and entry costs for veterans disability games, including wheelchair basketball.
