IYP PROSPER INITIATIVE INC

IYP Prosper Initiative is a 501(c)3 nonprofit formed to empower youth and the underprivileged. The organization poised as consumer advocates, strives to empower youth and the underprivileged in finances and entrepreneurship. We help individuals in these groups to go from unemployment or underemployment to business owners. IYP Prosper starts with the individual by teaching them about finances and credit, personal and business, as well as entrepreneurship. Any Rand, author and philosopher said, “Wealth is the product of man’s capacity to think.” Hosea 4:6 says "People are destroyed for lack of knowledge." IYP Prosper feels called to help people become empowered through training, coaching, consulting, to help them gain a foothold in today's society. IYP Prosper believes in leveling the playing field for the underprivileged. Our new endeavor is to build a complex with living and training facilities for foster youth aging out of the system and veterans. Our goal is to remove the stress of hunger and homelessness by providing a place for them to live and eat, allowing them to focus on their training. We train them in life skills and employment or entrepreneurial skills preparing them for independence and self sufficiency.
