WALKING WITH HONOR

Founded by a veteran, Walking With Honor trains and places shelter-sourced service dogs with military veterans—restoring independence, purpose, and hope, and ensuring no hero walks alone. Where heroes walk together.

Walking With Honor is a nonprofit organization dedicated to transforming the lives of both veterans and shelter dogs through purpose-driven service dog training. We carefully select rescue dogs and provide comprehensive training to prepare them for service work, focusing on psychiatric and mobility support for veterans. Our program emphasizes the powerful bond between handler and dog, promoting healing, independence, and daily support. By using shelter dogs, we not only reduce the number of homeless animals but also give them a meaningful role as life-changing partners for those who have served our country.
