Help Provide Safe Housing for Veterans & Domestic Violence Survivors
Transitional Housing: Providing safe housing for Veterans, Domestic Violence Survivors and their children. Our program makes available counseling, job training, educational training, support groups, financial budgeting classes and day care centers that help recipients through the transitional stage in their life of becoming self-sufficient along with breaking the barrier of domestic abuse. We also make available other community resources to assist veterans such as home care packages, Medicaid and other health and medical benefit for those who were in the war, those who are not seniors, and/or are homeless Veterans needing housing assistance.
Helping Hands Computer Lab
Helping Hand Computer Training Program offers computer classes for career and financial empowerment training for economically disadvantage youths, women, veterans, domestic violence survivors and underprivileged individuals seeking training in technology to help them to become more self-sufficient by obtaining new skills for career advancement. We are addressing poverty, illiteracy and homelessness. This is a top priority, we are bridging the gap between poverty, and self-sufficiency through education and better career opportunities.

Helping Hands Technology, Career Training and Financial Empowerment Educational Training program began to emerge as a strategy for promoting the workforce development, social and economic well-being of domestic violence survivors, women, girls, Veterans and economically disadvantaged individuals with the opportunities to be able to save and accumulate assets, Job preparedness, training, skills building, college or vocational certification, career counseling, placement, job retention, and entrepreneurship leading to livable wage jobs, Social enterprises, other transitional employment and workforce re-entry programs tied to job training and placement for the unemployed, under-employed, formerly incarcerated, homeless, and disconnected youth putting people on track for growth and meaningful employment To become entrepreneurs and create new jobs. The program will assist these individuals in setting goals and motivation to achieve goals, which will promote more self-confidence and self-esteem, and a greater future orientation and hope.
The program educates our students in financial empowerment direct services, credit repair financial empowerment, job readiness and job training, financial empowerment, micro-enterprise and matched savings. The training program offers career empowerment such as being safe during the job search and at work, choosing and planning for the career you want, getting started in your career, preparing for their job search and sharing information and communicating in the job search and at work.
We provide job training, food nutrition curriculum, career empowerment, and financial empowerment for domestic violence survivor, disaster victims, economically disadvantage youth's, women, veterans, domestic violence survivors and underprivileged individuals to help these individuals to live healthy lifestyles and learn about dietary restrictions and food nutrition that will help them live longer and sustainability
Helping Hands Technology, Career Training and Financial Empowerment Educational Training Program will offer technology training, asset building, financial training, small business management, Entrepreneurship, workforce development and computer classes to economically disadvantage individuals throughout Michigan seeking educational training in technology and finances to help them to achieve sustainability, self-sufficiency and improving their career.
Helping Hands Technology, Career Training and Financial Empowerment Educational Training program will help these individuals to receive the adequate skills and technology that will put them on the road to a better career opportunity. The technology training and financial educational training will allow these individuals in becoming financial stable through asset building, small business management, entrepreneurship, workforce development and help break the barrier of poverty.

Our asset building program and workforce development is a major focus area of our financial educational empowerment training program is to promote asset ownership, job preparedness and entrepreneurship among economically disadvantaged individuals.
