HUMANKIND INITIATIVE
OTTAWA, Illinois
The HumanKIND Initiative will provide activities and resources for all ages of the LGBTQ+ Community in not only the LaSalle County, Illinois area, but the surrounding areas and all of Illinois. We will provide a safe space for the Community and allies to grow and thrive through the use of education, health & wellness, recreation, social activities, fundraising events, Senior programs, Veteran programs, and collaborations with other local non-profit organizations.
The HumanKIND Initiative exists in order to provide, primarily, a resource for the LGBTQ+ Community in the rural LaSalle County, Illinois area, where these resources are sorely lacking. Our charity fundraises year-round to provide the resources necessary for the Community to grow. We not only have our Annual Family Pride Fest in Ottawa, but provide space for everything from book clubs, community gardens, and camp outs by our bonfire, to counseling appointments, wellness programs, and ...
