Our mission is to honor our nation's heroes by connecting Americans to the sacrifices of our military, veterans, first responders and their families. What started as a mission to restore the true meaning of Memorial Day has evolved beyond one holiday and beyond just our Military. Our three programs help bring Awareness to the sacrifices by giving an active way for Americans to participate in events, to raise funds which help us to provide a continuum of care to our nation's heroes and to educate students about the FLAG and why people are willing to die to protect it.

Carry The Load’s mission is rooted in raising awareness for the true meaning of Memorial Day. Join millions of people across the nation in a movement to honor and remember the sacrifices of our nation’s heroes.

Each May, people can actively participate in Carry The Load’s Memorial May awareness campaign to make Memorial Day matter again. People can participate by hosting a Carry It Anywhere experience, organizing a youth Carry The Flag activity, walking in the National Relay, attending a City Rally, fundraising for our nation’s heroes, and taking part virtually throughout the 32-day event.

Throughout the year, Carry The Load provides volunteer opportunities, community events and ways to participate virtually. This type of outreach promotes service in our communities. Go to our Events page to learn how you can get involved.

The Continuum of Care program was created to provide direct services to our Military and First responders and their families. May awareness events help provide much needed awareness and resources to our Continuum of Care non profit partners who provide these direct services.

The Carry The Flag program is our educational program which educates students from Elementary through High School on the importance of our flag and why our nation's heroes are willing to die to protect our flag.
