FRIENDS OF FISHER HOUSE ARKANSAS INC

Fisher House Arkansas will reside on the Little Rock, Arkansas campus of the John L. McClellan Memorial Veterans' Hospital which is part of the Central Arkansas Veterans Healthcare System (CAVHS). The 16-suite CAVHS Fisher House will provide up to 5,840 nights of lodging to Veterans and their families providing a savings of up to $624.800 in lodging per year. There is no cost to the Veteran or their families to stay at the Fisher House.

Fisher House Arkansas will support two medical campuses in Central Arkansas that serve patients from Arkansas, Oklahoma, Texas, Missouri, and Tennessee. The John L. McClellan Memorial Veterans Hospital is a key training facility with significant referrals to the adjacent University of Arkansas Medical Sciences Center. Key services include cardiology, oncology, gastroenterology, mental health treatment, and critical surgical procedures.

Friends of Fisher House Arkansas Capital Campaign is ongoing, and we are actively seeking to align with those keen to support this project, which is anticipated to open in late 2025. Once open, Friends of Fisher House Arkansas will continue to support Fisher House Arkansas by providing resources to purchase needed items such as snacks, meals, meal cards, personal care product and other items needed by the families.
