Our mission is to honor service members and veterans touched by war with comforting, healing, quilts of valor.
Our group is an all volunteer organization that was formed in 2023. Our first award of quilts was in October of 2023 to 6 Veterans at the VFW in Marsing, Idaho. Since that time we have awarded over 400 quilts in the Treasure Valley to Veterans and Service Members.
We have a yearly raffle quilt that we sell tickets for throughout the year. This is how we fund the fabric, batting and incidental purchases that we need to make this group run. We also receive donations from individuals, however, we never solicit money from any veteran or service member.
We are very fortunate to have over 50 amazing volunteers who give so generously of their time to piece quilt tops, long arm quilt tops, bind, label and wash. They also volunteer for our award of the quilts.
Very touching ceremonies.
