Hope Sings Youth Choir: Free Music Education for Nashville Youth

Give a child a year of music, mentorship, and belonging through Hope Sings Youth Choir. A gift of $1,000 underwrites a full-year scholarship for one young singer and contributes to the shared costs of rehearsals, performances, music, and recording. Gifts of every size help make the program more accessible to Nashville-area families.

Hope Sings Youth Choir is a full-academic-year program designed to serve up to 50 children ages 9 to 14. Through weekly rehearsals, participants explore opera, classical, and crossover music while developing vocal technique, musicianship, discipline, confidence, creativity, and collaboration.

Living Opera artists provide instruction and mentorship throughout the year. The program culminates in seasonal performances and a professional studio recording, giving participants the experience of preparing and presenting their work at a high artistic standard.

Families may participate through tuition or scholarship assistance. Scholarships help ensure that financial circumstances do not prevent talented and motivated young people from accessing sustained music education and professional mentorship.

Donors who fund a full scholarship may be recognized as Founding Supporters in selected program and concert materials, with their permission. Individuals, foundations, and companies interested in providing lead support of $30,000 or more may contact Living Opera about underwriting a full season.

Your support gives young singers more than music instruction. It provides a supportive community in which they can discover their abilities, strengthen their voices, and develop skills that will serve them onstage, at school, and throughout their lives.
