The Getty-Lucas Post 44 of Gordon Pennsylvania was granted its Post Charter on January 24th, 1946. AMVETS Mission Statement: To enhance and safeguard the entitlements for all American Veterans who have served honorably and to improve the quality of life for them, their families, and the communities where they live through leadership, advocacy and services.
The Gordon Amvets Charitable Association is a 501 (c)3 nonprofit organization that supports local United States Veterans projects and the veterans themselves. We are in the process of building a new Veteran's Memorial Park and hope to complete this in the very near future with the help of generous donors.
