The mission of Hedgerow Puppets is to foster play, inspire imagination, cultivate connection, and support healing through having fun!
Hedgerow Puppets offers performances showcasing multiple forms of puppetry from around the world, including: shadow puppets; marionettes; Bunraku puppets; hand puppets; rod puppets, and more. In addition to performances, we offer puppet making and performing workshops for ages 6-106. Each year, we create 4-6 workshops exploring puppetry as art therapy, with each workshop focusing on a specific aspect of personal healing. We serve the wider public, with special emphasis in nurturing creativity and play for at risk youth and other vulnerable populations.
