On August 29, 2026, Crossi, 18, tragically lost her life in a scooter accident. Her life was far too short, but the impact she made in those 18 years will be felt by all who knew and loved her.
Crossi was beautiful both inside and out. Her determination and hard work led her to graduate as Salutatorian from Buchanan High School. She continued her education at the University of Utah, where she was studying Kinesiology with the goal of becoming an Occupational Therapist. She dreamed of one day working with children, combining her education with her natural desire to help others and make a meaningful difference in their lives.
Crossi will be remembered for her drive, her old soul, her dry sense of humor, and, most of all, the deep love she had for her family and those around her. Her family hopes that by creating the Crosslyn Good Legacy Fund, Crossi’s legacy can help protect others and prevent another family from experiencing the unimaginable loss they now know all too well.
The Crosslyn Good Legacy Fund will support a helmet program for students riding scooters at the University of Utah, helping promote safer riding and ensuring that students have access to the protection they need.
Through this fund, Crossi’s family hopes to carry her GOOD forward and create a lasting legacy that reflects the kindness, determination, and desire to help others that defined her life.

Donations received will be used to collectively fund an endowment supporting student safety on campus, named the Crosslyn Good Legacy Fund. The minimum amount to endow a fund is currently $50,000. In the event this threshold is not reached by September 2028 the funds received will be used for the same purpose through an expendable fund.
