SPARTA COMMUNITY FOOD PANTRY INC

Donation & Volunteer based food pantry, feeding the hungry throughout Sussex county NJ and in neighboring towns. We feed individuals, families, challenged folk, veterans, homeless, seniors and the working people who cannot make ends meet. We deliver to homebound clients who otherwise have no way to get food .
We work closely with Social Service agencies, churches, shelters, and healthcare agencies to feed our clients nutritious food on a weekly basis. We have been operating through generous donations and volunteers for 35 years. No one in our organization is paid, so 100% of donations go toward feeding our clients.
We offer a wide selection of shelf-stable food, dairy, produce, meat, bakery and baby food. In addition hygiene products, household cleaning items, paper products and pet food is offered when available.
In 2022 we showed a 40% increase in clients from 2021.
