Wonder Horse Ranch (WHR) is an equine-assisted services (EAS) program located in Elgin, TX at Flying Pig Farm. WHR offers veterans and first responders opportunities to learn about horse care, land management, and the classical system of in-hand and ridden work with horses as a means to ameliorate anxiety and stress. In addition, WHR provides space for veterans and first responders to gather as a community and spend time in a relaxing natural setting.

WHR’s mission is to create a mutually therapeutic and collaborative environment for people and equine partners, improving the physical and mental wellbeing of both. At WHR, equine-human relationships are reciprocal and based on the principles of respect, balance, and honor.
