As a parent booster organization,TMEARS is thrilled to support our school robotics team. The Tomball Memorial High School FRC robotics team, Vector 8177, is a rookie team established in 2019. According to our students, "We started this journey as a means to fuel our passion for STEM and spread its values to inspire other students to pursue their goals. Through this team, members learn how to become leaders in various fields, ranging from business, management, computer science, and engineering. Our goal to impact student’s lives is dedicated to realizing FIRST’s vision: 'To transform our culture by creating a world where science and technology are celebrated and where young people dream of becoming science and technology leaders.' – Dean Kamen, Founder of FIRST."
The Rookie All-Star Award is awarded to the rookie team that exemplifies a young but strong partnership effort as well as implementing the mission of FIRST to inspire students to learn more about science and technology. Through our perseverance, we won the award at the first district match in Greenville, Texas.
