Despite long-term efforts to eradicate malaria, the disease remains one of the top killers in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC). Malaria is the most important single cause of frequent work and school absenteeism and delay in achieving sustainable development. Malaria is a killer: over 400 children die every day in the Democratic Republic of the Congo and almost half of them are from Malaria. Anemia, low birth weight, epilepsy, and neurological problems are all frequent consequences of malaria and compromise the health and development of children. Yet much of the impact of malaria could be prevented with currently available interventions. We have created this fund to eradicate malaria by providing tools and resources and helping to fight poverty in DRC. We are a not-for-profit organization that raises money for treatment, provides health education to families and health professionals, and distributes mosquito nets .We want to be a generation that will eradicate malaria and achieve one of the greatest humanitarian accomplishments.
