Canines 4 Comfort is a 501(c)(3) that provides trained dogs to support mental health treatment and wellness. These services are available within a 60-mile radius of Round Lake, Illinois.

Once trained, our dogs are gifted to their new handlers. Canines 4 Comfort transforms lives through canine companionship. We provide:
- Psychiatric Service Dogs: Trained to assist individuals with PTSD, anxiety, depression, and other mental health conditions, including veterans and children.
- Facility/Comfort Dogs: Placed in schools and first responder teams to provide comfort and support.
These trained dogs bring comfort, stability, and renewed purpose. We offer comprehensive support, including training, education, and care for our dogs and their human partners.

Canines 4 Comfort provides life-changing services free of charge. Your generous donations help us continue our mission of comforting and supporting those in need.

We offer a professional program for our dogs to bring cheer and comfort to others while showcasing their training. Canines 4 Comfort can personalize visits to:
-Provide dog therapy to residents and staff of healthcare facilities, senior living, retirement communities, and corporate wellness initiatives.
-Provide comprehensive dog therapy and educational services to schools, counseling centers, workplace environments, and community organizations like Rotary Clubs, Lions Clubs, Women's Clubs, and Scout Troops.
-Supply dogs to participate in reading-to-dog programs at libraries and schools.
-Offer support in potentially stressful environments, including:
-Court companions
-Grief counseling
-Therapy groups
And many other situations where our dogs can provide comfort.
