SPRINGFIELD, MO - Convoy of Hope has established distribution locations at Zeal Church and First Nazarene Church, both of which are in downtown Nashville. East of the city, where most of the residential damage is, we have established a base at The Church at Pleasant Grove in Mt. Juliet where we will coordinate our operations and logistics. Daily distribution in Mt. Juliet will happen at First Baptist Church. Convoy of Hope personnel will be at both locations.

We will continue to post updates as news becomes available.

SPRINGFIELD, MO - Sad news continues to come out of Tennessee. According to the Associated Press, the EF-3 tornado that struck Nashville and the surrounding area killed 24 people and destroyed more than 140 buildings. Governor Bill Lee has declared an emergency and sent the National Guard to help with search-and-rescue efforts.

Convoy of Hope’s Disaster Services team arrived in the Nashville area Tuesday night with two tractor-trailers loaded with disaster relief supplies. We have set up two points of distribution to serve people both in the downtown area and those living in the suburbs of Nashville.

Staff and volunteers will distribute disaster relief supplies, such as food, water, and cleanup supplies, to those impacted by the storm. We are working with multiple churches in the area to serve as many people as possible.

More trucks full of disaster relief supplies will be en route this week.
