FEEDING AMERICA KENTUCKYS HEARTLAND INC

Our mission is to serve those in need by acquiring and distributing donated food, grocery items, and government commodities through our member network of charitable agencies in 42 Kentucky counties.

We are a regional affiliate of Feeding America that serves 42 Kentucky counties in central, south central, and western Kentucky. We were established in Elizabethtown, KY in 1982 and currently provide assistance to over 223,500 people annually. We partner with over 230 partner agencies (soup kitchens, food pantries, senior centers, etc.) to distribute approximately 19.8 million pounds of food that provides 16.5 million meals each year. Every dollar donated procures and distributes approximately 8 meals to our neighbors in need.
