Bamboo Bend promotes mental and physical healing to honorably discharged wounded and injured military veterans as they craft their own bamboo fly rod from scratch.
Honorably discharged military veterans from all services and all eras gather once a year in Lovells, Michigan to build their own bamboo fly rod. Every vet leaves with a completed rod! 100% of donations go towards the program because very person involved in Bamboo Bend is a volunteer. We have 0% overhead!
