Matching Shelter Dogs With Veterans Through an Emotional Support Dog Program

This project supports veterans by pairing them with carefully selected shelter dogs who can serve as emotional support animals. Many veterans live with anxiety, trauma, or isolation, and an emotional support dog can make daily life easier. We adopt suitable dogs from local shelters, provide training that focuses on calm behavior and responsiveness, and then match each dog with a veteran based on individual needs.
