Charity On Wheels

In 2013, Zach and Michelle Southall founded Charity on Wheels, a 501c(3) non-profit organization dedicated to fighting homelessness a different way. With a focus on Veterans, Seniors, and Single Mothers, Charity on Wheels’ methodology begins with a hand-up, not a hand-out.

With weekly, monthly, and seasonal outreach programs focused on restoring individuals who are ready to make a change, Charity on Wheels provides a “lifeline” to marginalized people desperately in need of hope. In the span of one month they engage with over 1000 individuals; providing one-on-one mentoring and job placement assistance as well as meals and necessities such as clothing, hygiene products and shower passes.

We also provide homeless prevention resources to those who are struggling with poverty but not homeless. This also includes “at risk” individuals from falling into homelessness; low-income families, individuals living below the poverty line & recently released "institutionalized" people struggling to reenter society.

Charity on Wheels is dedicated in providing “A Hand Up, Not A Hand Out” to those who are struggling with poverty and help them get back on the road to self-reliance.
