Empowering Women & Beautifying Communities in Central America and the Caribbean
efter GLOBAL PAINT FOR CHARITY INCAt Global Paint for Charity, our mission extends far beyond color, it’s about empowerment, opportunity, and community transformation. Through our ongoing beautification and microenterprise development projects across Central America and the Caribbean, we are creating new possibilities for women, youth, and underserved families in some of the world's most impoverished areas.
Empowering Women Through Color and Craft
In Honduras, Guatemala, and El Salvador, we are placing women and young girls at the heart of our community revitalization efforts. In these countries, too many women live in extreme poverty, lacking access to education, job opportunities, and mentorship. Through our programs, these women are not only beautifying their communities—they are learning valuable skills, building confidence, and launching small painting and crafts-based businesses.
Participants in our initiative learn to refurbish furniture, paint murals, create colorful décor, and attract local customers—all with just $50 to $500 in startup costs. With donated paint, brushes, and training, many earn a profit from their first job. These businesses allow women to generate income, support their families, and become leaders in their communities.
Community Beautification & Volunteer Engagement
Thanks to our volunteers, including local church members and youth, hundreds of properties in underserved areas have been transformed with vibrant color and care. In the past year alone, Global Paint for Charity has shipped three full containers of high-quality paint to Central America—and two more this year. These shipments have supported:
80 churches
120 family homes
48 basic schools
Each project represents a powerful collaboration between volunteers, local leaders, and residents working together to build pride, identity, and resilience through beautification.
A Historic Commitment to Guyana
Beyond Central America, our work in the Caribbean includes a landmark donation of over 20,000 gallons of paint to Guyana. A portion of this paint will be used to restore the iconic St. George’s Cathedral in Georgetown, the tallest wooden building in the world and one of Guyana’s most treasured landmarks.
This partnership was personally initiated by our founder, Dr. Rony Delgarde, who made the offer during a meeting with First Lady Sandra Granger of Guyana and Minister of Social Cohesion Hon. Amna Ally. Their unwavering support symbolizes the powerful impact public-private partnerships can have on national heritage and community unity.
Opportunities for Collaboration in Central America & the Caribbean
We are actively seeking partners who can support this life-changing work. Areas for collaboration include:
Identifying and selecting eligible beneficiary schools and families
Funding for paint shipments and supplies
Microfinance support for female entrepreneurs
Implementation and execution of on-the-ground projects
Sponsorship of sustainable classroom environments
Sharing knowledge and mentorship for local leaders and youth
With your support, we can continue to uplift lives, restore communities, and empower the next generation of entrepreneurs through the power of paint.
