To provide educational and public services and to support improving the welfare, enrichment, and empowerment of the Southern California Chinese American community. To specifically provide beneficial educational and public service programs in the areas of citizenship education, youth leadership development, senior services, immigration education, cultural and historical education and cultural exchanges. Los Angeles C.A.C.A. Community Action receives funds and grants for projects and programs or general support within its stated mission areas. In turn, Community Action awards scholarships and grants to community clients within its mission areas.
