Steel City HxCx Recovery Foundation provides charitable, educational, and supportive services to veterans, at-risk youth, and underserved individuals with a focus on prevention, resilience, recovery, and long-term stability.
The Foundation works to remove financial and access barriers by offering a combination of in-person education, community-based programming, and free digital resources that support whole-person development — mind, body, and character.
Our services include in-person keynote presentations, lectures, and customized “TED-style” talks delivered at schools, community organizations, conferences, recovery programs, and veteran-focused events. These presentations focus on topics such as resilience under pressure, recovery and mental health awareness, personal accountability, life skills, discipline, identity, and navigating adversity.
In addition to live programming, the Foundation offers a free Digital Forge Library, an online educational resource hub providing on-demand access to a wide range of educational content, including workshops, recorded talks, guided exercises, practical tools, and written resources. This digital library is designed to ensure that individuals who cannot attend in-person programming still have equitable access to high-quality educational and recovery-oriented materials at no cost.
Through partnerships and direct programming, the Foundation supports structured, safe, and supportive environments that promote personal growth, accountability, positive decision-making, and community connection. When appropriate, participants may also be connected to supportive resources and referrals aligned with the Foundation’s mission.
