Palestinian Patient Fund – Yafa Hospital, Deir al-Balah

Global fund and partners launched the Palestinian Patient Fund at Yafa Hospital in Deir al-Balah, to support vulnerable groups especially children, women, and the elderly by providing free medicines and treatment amid the healthcare system's collapse and soaring medicine prices due to the ongoing blockade. This initiative aims to foster hope and confidence within the community, showing that collective efforts can bring positive change.
The fund directly covers medication costs, ensuring patients receive prescriptions free of charge and no one is denied care because of poverty. This effort strengthens community resilience and reassures the public that essential services continue despite severe shortages, fostering a sense of shared purpose and hope.
