Through our partnership with Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library, United Way of Eastern LaSalle County delivers free, high-quality, age-appropriate books each month to children from birth to age five—at absolutely no cost to families. This powerful early literacy program builds school readiness, supports brain development, and encourages a love of books from the very beginning.

Your donation helps us:

Provide monthly books to local children ages 0–5

Foster early childhood learning and kindergarten readiness

Remove financial barriers for families

Strengthen the parent-child bond through reading

Our current goal is to provide 30 children in our region with a new book every month for five full years—that’s 60 books per child, a total of 1,800 books directly into the hands of children who need them most.
